This week, we re-did the wall decor in our living room. Here is the before:

Our wedding photos have been up almost a year and my husband and I wanted to change things up. I was first inspired here.

First, we added the clock arms (found on Amazon):

Then, we arranged pictures around the clock:

I wanted to put fall into the frames. At first I was looking through fall sayings, subway art, or other autumn pictures. I couldn’t find anything  I absolutely loved that would go well in the frames, so I opted for simple. I came across leaf patterns and just printed them out and traced them onto scrapbook paper I had:

On the other wall we added the mirror (which used to be above our piano) and the pictures of family around it.

I wanted to add a Thanksgiving theme, so I took dry erase marker and wrote things I was thankful for on the leaves. I’m going to continue to add to them as the month goes on!

  2. Wow I LOVE the clock idea!! We have a large wall that people have told us before we should just get a big clock for, but with this idea we could do pictures too!! Might have to talk to the hubby about that one…

    Hope it’s ok I linked up a recipe — you didn’t specifically mention recipes — but it’s a recipe I’ve never tried before. 😉
