How I feel – I have been sleeping better and this week I have had so much energy!! It’s crazy. Did I have this much energy before I was pregnant?! I know I did, but it’s weird to feel almost normal again. It’s been great to be energized this week – I’m still on Christmas break and I was able to get the baby’s room cleared of junk and start organizing the basement!
Total weight gain/loss? – This week I feel like I’ve been hungry almost all the time!! I’m eating a lot more frequently, but smaller amounts. I’ve been loving salad and yogurt this week especially. I have not gained any weight this week, so I’m still at a 7 pound gain overall during this pregnancy.
Maternity clothes? – Yep, I’m loving the maternity clothes. So much more comfortable! I think I had to switch to maternity because my clothes tend to be form fitting and I’m long-waisted. This week I bought coobie bras. I know a lot of people have raved about them, so I’m excited to try them!
Movement: Nothing yet, but I’m hoping to feel something soon! At one point this week I wondered if I was feeling the baby moving, because my stomach was constantly growling, but I think I was just hungry. I did feel some pain yesterday for a couple of hours and again wondered if it was the baby moving. But after taking to other moms, I think it was just round ligament pain.
Best moment last week? Getting together with fellow pregnant friends!
Gender: We hope to find out Jan. 15th whether it’s a boy or girl. (11 more days!)
What I am looking forward to: I’m definitely counting down the days until my next Christmas present – being able to see our baby for the first time!!! We have an ultrasound scheduled for Jan. 15th and hope to find out the sex of the baby.
Our little “June Bug’s” Growth
We’ve been taking photos since week 6 and showing a fruit or vegetable in the picture that is the same size as our little “June Bug”. The apple we used last week was a bit smaller than it should have been – oops! But still, baby is going through a growth spurt, and so am I! This week: our baby is the length of a red pepper (4 1/2 inches long and weighs 3 1/2 ounces):
