Hello all! It’s time for a pregnancy update! Thanks so much for your kind comments every week! 🙂 Even though this post is a couple of days late, I’m going to share about how week 27 of pregnancy went!
Sleep – This week has been weird. I went camping for two nights and three days, and I also stayed with my family in Branson for a couple of nights. I went to bed late, but still got a decent amount of sleep.
I can’t believe I had enough energy for all that I did camping – took a 2 hour hike, set up tents, made breakfast, etc. But I also spent some good time relaxing.
Then, amazingly I had enough energy to paint the nursery for 7 hours with a friend! I’m so glad it’s done!
Total weight gain/loss? Yes – 1 pound! So, overall I’m at a 17 pound weight gain.
I’m having more cravings lately (just anything I read or see a picture of it seems), and I’m very hungry lately. For example, yesterday I had a first breakfast, second breakfast, first lunch, second lunch, first dinner, and second dinner!!
Best moment this week?
Getting the nursery ready!! AND receiving a handmade baby blanket by my sister-in-law Gabi!! I LOVE it and it matches my nursery decor perfectly!! 🙂
My husband put a lot of work into getting rid of all the extra stuff in the nursery room: bean bags, sewing machine, and bassinet (and he sold some other things on Craigslist). So, we had room to move the glider in place!!
Friday I painted the nursery a light French gray and the dresser/changing table white with the help of one of my good friends! Here’s a sneak peak of what it looks like (with the new quilt from Aunt Gabi):
What I am looking forward to
Now is the time that I can start adding the details to the nursery!! So excited to find the right details.
Our little “June Bug’s” Growth
We’ve been taking photos since week 6 and showing a fruit or vegetable in the picture that is the same size as our little “June Bug”. Last week: our little girl was 14 inches long and 1 two-thirds pounds in weight (acorn squash). This week: 14.5 inches long and 2 pounds in weight (cauliflower).
