Hello all! Last week I talked about my first few weeks of pregnancy. Today I’m going to share about how my 10th and 11th weeks went!
This was a really exciting week – we got to hear our baby’s heartbeat for the first time!! It was incredible to hear the heartbeat. I’m not sure that I feel more pregnant (since it’s still hard to believe), but I was definitely on an emotional high and giddy after our appointment. It’s so amazing to realize that our baby is so incredibly tiny (less than an inch and a half long) and yet we still we able to hear a heartbeat!
This week was also the week we got to share online that we were pregnant! Thanksgiving Day we made our pregnancy “Facebook official”. After posting the first photo I started crying because suddenly the pregnancy became more real – we were broadcasting the news! I was very bubbly and full of energy that morning.
Since seeing the midwife last week, I had started walking as an exercise (prior to my pregnancy I had not been exercising at all). The days had been really nice after Thanksgiving and it was so good to be moving and outside!
Lately my back has been hurting a lot. I’m waking up in the middle of the night and trying to get comfortable. Does it really happen this early on? The only comfortable position is on my back, and I know that in a few weeks I won’t be able to sleep on my back anymore. So, I decided I need to buy a Snoogle!
Our little “June Bug’s” Growth
We’ve been taking photos since week 6 and showing a fruit or vegetable in the picture that is the same size as our little “June Bug”. For these weeks: Cherry Tomato (1 1/4 inches), Kiwi (almost 2 inches)
