Hello all! Each Friday I’ve been keeping you updated on how my pregnancy is going. Last week I talked about Weeks 10 and 11. Today I’m going to share about how my 12th and 13th weeks went – I can’t believe it’s the end of the first trimester already!
Sleep – I’ve been sleeping with the Snoogle – it has definitely helped a lot!! Not sure what it is? Just google it. I definitely have still been pretty tired – even taking naps a few afternoons this week.
Showing? – This week I started getting from a couple of people that I’m starting to show! My waist has definitely thickened. It’s not quite like a bump yet, but it’s coming!!
What’s exciting to read in my pregnancy apps (I use Baby Center’s Pregnancy app and What to Expect Pregnancy app) is that in the past three weeks our baby has more than doubled in size!!
Total weight gain/loss? – I’ve only gained 3 pounds overall in this first trimester – that’s right on track!! Although I think more of the weight gain is in my midsection. This week I had almost everyone telling me I was starting to show!
Maternity clothes? – Nope, not yet. Still wearing some of my flowing shirt (and some of my form fitting shirts when I want to show off my mini-bump). I can still fit into my normal jeans, because they are low rise.
Best moment last week? – Hearing our baby’s heartbeat on the fetal monitor we bought! Oh, and we also finally bought a Willow Tree figure – love it!!
What I am looking forward to: My appointment with the midwife next week! And Christmas break – I am going to relax!!
Since it’s been too cold to walk, this week I started exercising to a video I found at momsintofitness.com. It’s great – you can have 4 workout videos for free that are totally customized to your pregnancy and based on how much you worked out before pregnant.
